Urgent care, wherever you are

Getting care for a minor illness or health concern can now be as easy as opening MyChart.

TidalHealth Urgent Care offers virtual visits for patients ages 18 and older, providing another way to connect with a TidalHealth practitioner without leaving home.

"Patients appreciate care that fits their lives," said Sarah Arnett, DNP, president of TidalHealth Urgent Care. "Telehealth makes urgent care more accessible to our community by allowing patients to connect with a practitioner wherever they are. It offers a convenient option for appropriate concerns, with a clear path to in-person care when an examination or treatment is needed."

Patients begin by completing a symptom check in MyChart. Based on their responses, MyChart helps guide them to the most appropriate level of care. If their symptoms can be safely addressed through a virtual urgent care visit, they can continue through the process and connect remotely with a TidalHealth practitioner.

Virtual urgent care is designed for conditions that do not require an in-person examination or emergency care, giving patients another option when they need timely care but may not need to visit an urgent care center.

Patients who plan to use insurance should check with their insurance provider to understand their individual coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs.

For those who prefer in-person care, TidalHealth Urgent Care also offers seven convenient locations across Delmarva. To find a location near you, visit tidalhealth.org/getcarenow.

To use virtual urgent care and other convenient TidalHealth services, patients should enroll in MyChart and make sure their account is active and up to date.

Visit tidalhealth.org or log in to MyChart to learn more and get started.
