Melissa Braniff, CRNP

Melissa Braniff, CRNP, joined TidalHealth Gynecology & Prenatal Care in January 2020 to provide women’s healthcare for the Berlin/Ocean City community. Recently, the readers of Coastal Style voted her the Best OB/GYN practitioner in Worcester County.

“One of the most important aspects of patient care for me is making sure every patient feels heard, respected and generally cared for,” Braniff said. “Women often come to us during some of the most personal, vulnerable, exciting and sometimes frightening moments of their lives. Being trusted to walk alongside them through these moments is something I consider a true privilege.

“I want patients to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns and being an active participant in their care. My goal is to take the time to listen, explain things in a way that makes sense, and create a plan that fits each patient as an individual.”

Braniff was a registered nurse for six years, gaining experience in home health and emergency nursing, before earning her Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Wilmington University.
