MANITOBA ROLLS DEEP AT BOWLS CHAMPS

MANITOBA is well represented at the 2026 Canadian Indoor Bowls Championships.

Winnipeggers Jerome Kirby, Shirley Fitzpatrick-Wong, Elaine Hunnie and Don Simeone are in Vancouver for the event that kicked off Monday and runs through Oct. 24.

Kirby is coming off a third-place singles finish at the Pacific Coast Indoor Open back in September. He also reached the quarterfinals with Claire Day in the mixed pairs event.

Fellow Manitoban bowler Gerry Chudrick also made it to the quarterfinals at last month's Indoor Open in the singles event.
