PAUL ERNEST JOSEPH LANSARD

It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Paul Ernest Joseph Lansard on September 30, 2026, at the age of 64.

Born in Ste. Anne, Manitoba, Paul was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was predeceased by his mother, Marie-Paule Fiola; his father, Ferdinand Lansard; and his younger brother, Dominic Lansard.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jeannette Lansard (née Alarie); his treasured daughter, Ciel Lansard; stepsons, Serge (Kayla) Desmarais, Mario (Melanie) Desmarais, Colin Desmarais, and Patrick (Nathalie) Desmarais; brother Dan Lansard (Sue); sister-in-law Amy Lansard-Kendrick (Glenn); brother-in-law Raymond Alarie (Diane); sister-in-law Jeanne Remillard (Marc); nieces and nephews, Joel (Francine), Janelle (Matthew), Jordi (Bianka), Jaide, and Sage (Gray); as well as many uncles, aunties, extended family members, and friends.

Paul's passion for motocross racing began at a young age, earning him numerous trophies and accolades. Following in his father's footsteps, he became a Red Seal Roofer and operated his own roofing business for many years. At age 38, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by joining the Canadian Armed Forces, where he served proudly as a Traffic Technician until his retirement in 2019.

Never one to stop pursuing his goals, Paul enrolled at the University of Manitoba following his military career and was working toward a degree in Environmental Design. His determination and commitment to lifelong learning inspired everyone who knew him and proved that it is never too late to follow your dreams.

Paul will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life with reception will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Crossings Funeral Care, 12E - 40 North Gate Drive, Steinbach, MB. A private interment will take place after the reception.
