Robert (Laurie) Laurence Logan

Robert (Laurie) Laurence Logan

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laurie Logan at the age of 90. Rather than have Parkinson's dictate the course for the rest of his life, Laurie chose to leave this world on his own terms on October 14, 2026 surrounded by the love of his two sons, wife, and best friend.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne, sons, Rob (Kim), Kevin (Vicki), granddaughters, Katie, and Janelle (Taber) and great-grandchildren, Macie and Cade, sister Madelene, niece and nephew, Kim (Rob) and Bradley (Dawna).

A celebration of Laurie's life will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Ft. Garry United Church in the Upper Hall at 2:00 p.m. Internment will take place at Cloud Bay, Ontario in the summer.

Heartfelt thanks go out to the "Health Care Team" at Deer Lodge Centre who treated Laurie with such dignity, love, and respect during his short stay there and to the compassionate and professional MAID team. Donations to Nature Manitoba, Deer Lodge Centre or the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.
