WILLIAM (BILLY) VAUGHAN HOLUNGA

February 27, 1971 - September 25, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Billy) Vaughan Holunga (Campbell) on September 25, 2026, at the age of 55 in Toronto, Ontario.

Billy grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and worked for his family’s autobody shop T4 Autobody as a prepper and painter. In his younger years he participated in Folklorama and as an altar boy alongside with his two brothers at the St. Demetrios Romanian Orthodox Church for many years. In his mid-20’s he left for Toronto where he became a cook/chef at Breakwall BBQ and Smokehouse.

Billy will be lovingly remembered by his dad and mom, Terry and Brenda; his two brothers, Demetrios (Brandy), and Theodore; nieces, Maggie, Ashley, Brittany and Gracelyn; his nephews, Christopher and Camryn along with numerous family and friends. Billy was predeceased by his sister Gaylene.

A very special thanks to Shannon in Toronto for always helping him and being there for him.

Funeral service with luncheon to follow will be held on October 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the St. Demetrios Romanian Orthodox Church, 103 Furby St., Winnipeg, MB. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
