Yolanda Pascua Macaraeg

Yolanda Pascua Macaraeg (née Cabrera) passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 7:21 p.m., whilst being on comfort care at St. Boniface Hospital in 5E. In her final moments, she was in the company of her daughter and grandson. Yolanda was born in the Philippines on December 18, 1950. She was the second of four sisters. She ventured to Canada on September 22, 1972, all to provide a better life for her family in the Philippines.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachael Cabrera and her grandchildren, Larissa and Jacob Wolfrom; along with her two sisters, Neneth and husband Emil, Lolita and husband Miguel; along with her nieces and nephews. Yolanda will be resting beside her beloved husband Alex Macaraeg in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.

To those apart of inpatient medical ward, Floor 5-unit E, of St Boniface Hospital, we thank you for the care you provided Yolanda, especially in her last few days. To all other members of staff that helped, we truly appreciate all that you've done for our loved one.

There will be a Lamay/Visitation taking place at Mosaic Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
