Jorge Martins

In Loving Memory of Jorge Martins

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jorge Martins on August 31, 2026, in Portugal.

Jorge was a beloved father, cherished relative, and dear friend. He worked for many years as a Senior Operator with the City of Winnipeg’s Water and Waste Department, retiring in 2022. In late 2023, he returned to his homeland of Portugal, where he spent his remaining years close to the country and culture he held dear.

He will be deeply missed by his son, Daniel, family, friends, and former coworkers in Winnipeg and Portugal.
