On October 13, 2026 our fluffy, funny, thought we were “the best kids” mom passed away. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Edward. She had four “great kids” who will miss her terribly: Michele, Michael, Mark and Dawn. Mom was so proud to be a grandma and great-grandma.

Marie will be fondly remembered by her best friend since grade six, Bev Grabowecky. Mom was one of the faces that greeted you at Rougeau Plaza Medical Centre until she retired at 72. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the exceptional care given to our mom from home care. She loved her family, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Thanks to MacKenzie Funeral Home for helping us to end mom’s story.
